| The Process
The Excelebrate Process is an Organisational Development approach to management and sales development and training. It is structured like a training program so that companies get the full benefits of an Organisational Development process while still being able to claim back from the skills development levy.
The process is a specific approach to organizational development which effects maximum change in the least amount of time. The process has been developed over the past 18 years of working with management and other teams in numerous organisations. The outcome of the process is accountability and focus for the individuals and the team. Three components make up the process: Motivation, Skill Development, and Organisational Development. ![]() Motivation
The motivation component is a facilitated process which challenges the world view and personal paradigms of the individuals that make up the team. Participants are taken through a motivational process aimed at opening their hearts and motivating them to desire change, two key elements needed in the training that will be presented throughout the program. The process acts as a springboard from which to launch into the fast pace of the particular program. It is an essential part of the process as it settles and resets the emotional climate within the group for the program ahead.
Skills Development
Fundamental skills in terms of management, leadership or sales are presented once the participants are motivated to desire change. The aim of this skills development is to incorporate prior learning and challenge the participants paradigms in terms of their approach to management, leadership or sales. Tools which facilitate practical managing, leading and selling enable participants to impact their work space directly starting from the day the process begins. Powerful and simple tools assist the participants to make prior learning entirely practical and usher them towards focusing on what they are going to DO practically in terms of improving their management, leadership or sales.
Organisational Development
The third part of the process is based on the theory of Organisational Development and is made up of three parts: Extracting key issues blocking productivity; Deciding on actions; and creating individual action plans.
Extract Key issues One of the major challenges frustrating individuals and teams within organisations are the factors which block their productivity. These factors must be overcome for organisations to break into a new level of productivity and profitability. The team is facilitated through an anonymous process which allows for the most prominent (yet sometimes unspoken) issues to be uncovered. This process is effective because of the emotional climate created by the facilitators through the motivational and skills development components. The major issues blocking productivity are highlighted and voted on to rank them in order of importance. The entire group decides which blocks must be overcome in the next 8 – 12 weeks to improve productivity.
Decide on Actions The team is then facilitated through a process which allows them to decide on actions or create task teams which will create strategies to overcome the blocks to productivity. The participants are also aligned with each others as well as the teams overall objectives so that each individual has actions which align with the organizational strategy. Individual changes that need to be made from the skills development section are also incorporated.
Individual Action Plans Finally the individuals in the team develop their own personal strategies which incorporate the changes that will need to be effected within the next three months. These strategies are then presented to the rest of the team for accountability and cross pollination of actions which may require team initiatives. The outcome of the process is accountability and focus.
Focus
The end result of the process is what Excelebrate describes as focus. Focus means that each individual knows what they need to do right now to align with every other individual in the team so that everyone is acting in line with the team and the company’s overall strategy. It is this kind of focus which has such a radical impact on productivity and profitability. |
